These are the terms for using this website and buying what we offer. We've kept them as plain as we can. By using the site or placing an order, you're agreeing to what's below.

WHO YOU'RE DEALING WITH

This store and its content are operated by Lindsay James, a sole proprietorship based in Bend, Oregon, United States ("we," "us"). "You" means anyone using this site or buying from us.

WHO CAN BUY

You must be 18 or older to make a purchase through this store.

USING THIS SITE

You agree to use this site honestly and lawfully — no fraud, no scraping, no breaking it, no using it to harm others. We may refuse service, cancel orders, or close accounts if these terms are abused.

You're responsible for keeping your account details (if you create an account) accurate and secure.

WHAT WE SELL

We offer a mix of physical, digital, and live products, including:
- Communion — A Connection Card Game for Couples — a physical, made-to-order product that ships to you.
- Communion — Couples Communication Course — a live, dated group program delivered online over Zoom.
- Digital products and downloads.
- Free resources — like the Five Rituals guide.

Immersions, retreats, and 1:1 mentorship are currently booked through other platforms, not this store. If that changes, they'll be added here.

We do our best to describe and picture everything accurately, but we can't promise that colors, screens, or printed materials will look identical on every device or in every batch of a handmade-feeling object.

PRICES & PAYMENT

- Prices are listed on each product and are in USD (United States Dollars).
- Tax is calculated at checkout based on your location.
- We may change prices or offerings at any time, but changes won't affect orders you've already placed.
- Payment is processed securely through Shopify Payments (with Shop Pay and Apple Pay). By paying, you confirm you're authorized to use the payment method.
- We may cancel or decline an order — for example, if an item is mispriced, out of stock, or an order looks fraudulent — and we'll refund anything you've paid in that case.

REFUNDS, RETURNS & SHIPPING

How refunds, returns, and shipping work depends on what you bought — the made-to-order deck, a live course, and digital products each carry different terms. See our Refund & Returns policy and our Shipping policy. Those policies are part of these terms.

LIVE PROGRAMS, COURSES & SESSIONS

When you register for a live course or session, you're reserving a real seat in a real container:
- Show up for the dates as listed. We're not able to refund or make up missed live sessions outside the terms in the Refund & Returns policy.
- We may need to reschedule or substitute a facilitator on rare occasion; if a program is canceled, you'll be offered a refund or transfer.
- These offerings are for personal growth and connection. They are not therapy, medical care, mental-health treatment, or professional advice, and they're not a substitute for any of those. If you're in crisis or need clinical care, please reach out to a licensed professional.
- You take part of your own free will and are responsible for your own choices, wellbeing, and participation.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Everything on this site — the writing, the Communion deck and its prompts, course materials, images, the Lindsay James name and marks — belongs to us or is used with permission. It's for your personal use.

You may not copy, resell, reproduce, redistribute, or repurpose our materials (including course content and the deck's contents) without written permission. Buying a deck or a seat in a course buys you access for your own use, not a license to reproduce or teach from our materials.

YOUR CONTENT

We only use customer testimonials, photos, or other content for marketing when you've given us specific permission to do so. Without your consent, we won't. If you do send us something, please don't send anything you don't have the right to share.

DISCLAIMERS & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

We offer this site and our products in good faith and with care. To the fullest extent the law allows:
- The site and products are provided "as is," without warranties beyond those that can't legally be excluded.
- We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or products.

Nothing here is meant to limit rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law that can't be waived.

GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, and any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Oregon.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version always lives on this page with its date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
