What it’s like to sit with Lindsay

There are very few women in this world that carry a certain type of energy that is a balm that soothes your soul. Lindsay is one of them. I can easily say she is one of the rarest gems out there, and truly see's you in your brightest light, regardless of the journey you are on. I am infinitely grateful for the connection I have with her, and will hold it close to my heart as a glowing ember keeping me warm in times of fragility ❤️

I’ve worked with Lindsay for over 9 months. Gratitude does not fully capture the totality of my feeling for her. From the first day of our container I felt welcomed and held, all parts of me. It’s been a deep experience beyond anything I had engaged in prior to “do the work”. Because the work wasn’t geared towards fixing. It has been towards welcoming and remembering. Every ceremony space is carefully crafted and tailored to what needs are surfacing. We have ventured beyond just words to the realms of song and spirit. We have touched on soul and ancestors and the mystical. The current period of life transition and transformation I’m traversing has not been easy. I know having Lindsay as my partner and witness in this chapter has been worth the investment without question.

Lindsay James is the real thing. She is equally at home with her hands in the earth as she is sitting with someone in the fire of their becoming, and she brings that same grounded presence to both. She listens in a way that makes you feel genuinely met, not managed or fixed, and her wisdom has been earned in the terrain of real life, real grief, real transformation. Being a co-facilitator comrade, i get to see how she guards and electrifies a space; it is unique. She makes people feel safe and allows folks to be vulnerable. She invites people to embody a new spirit without shame. She transmits a calm, grounded peace, that sets the scene for expansion. She can elicit creativity that folks have never shared! Sometimes people enter your life bearing gifts you didn’t even know you were ready to receive. Sometimes you can feel something inside you shifting, that quiet knowing that you’re ready to evolve, that you’ve outgrown the life you’ve been living. But, being human, you need someone to gently guide you through the threshold. That’s how I crossed paths with Linds. I was scheduled to attend a group ceremony with her. When everyone else unexpectedly became ill, the ceremony was understandably canceled, and I accepted that. Then Linds reached out and said she still wanted to honor the time we had set aside. She didn’t have to do that. I didn’t think I needed her to. But I did. Somehow, she seemed to know what I couldn’t yet see, that my soul needed that space. Our time together became a pivotal moment in my healing journey. She met me with a presence that felt both deeply attentive and profoundly safe, caring for my heart with the tenderness of someone who had known me for years. That same care is how I’ve continued to witness her show up for others: thoughtful with her words, intuitive in her presence, and deeply respectful of the vulnerability people entrust to her. The integration that followed was just as intentional as the ceremony itself, and I have felt held by her ever since. Years later, that integration has quietly grown into a friendship—one that doesn’t depend on plans or proximity, but simply exists in a timeless connection. Lindsay is a rare kind of light. And anyone fortunate enough to find themselves in her presence will understand exactly what I mean 🤍

I have had the honor and privilege of sharing in ceremony with Miss Lindsay James on several occasions now. One of the things that strikes me about Lindsay is her ability to create a safe place in which to explore deeper. From the moment that I met her I knew that I was held in a sacred way and was in a state of deep trust and respect for the way that she carries herself and the medicine that she holds. I sought Lindsay out during a particularly challenging time in my life which was plagued with insomnia after a traumatic incident. The energy/entity work she did with me was beyond anything I’ve ever received from another healer. We went deep; into realms I’d never been to before. She cleared layers that were unseen to the regular eye, but felt by her. She cleared chakras, my aura & entities that were lingering in my field, draining my energy. The literal magic that occurred that day was beyond me. Lindsay is wise beyond this realm, intuitive in ways I’ve never experienced & all the while has such a gentle/compassionate heart when you’re in her presence.

There is truly no one like Lindsay. She is an absolutely beautiful ceremonialist who holds exquisite space. There are many in these spaces, but few who have the heart, the depth, the wisdom, and the care of Lindsay. I have had the honor of co-facilitating with Lindsay, and to witness her detailed care with each client, her generosity of spirit, and her amazing gifts of both word and gentle guidance and space holding are a beauty to witness. Lindsay is a magnetic powerhouse of a Woman who *captivates* me every time I sit in circle or ceremony with her. Before I knew her personally, I knew her professionally. Lindsay was recommended to me to facilitate a sacred journey with my husband. It was our first time sitting in ceremony, and I’ll never forget the strong steady space Lindsay held for us as we dove into the depths. She offered us council before and after our journey, and during the ceremony she held us in prayer — with song, drumming, and gentle touch when needed. Lindsay James is an amazing ceremonialist, guide, woman, and template for healing. I've had the good fortune to be both a friend of hers and the recipient of her ceremonies. And the space that she holds and the depth that she can travel with others, whether they're her friends or her clients, is incredible and impeccable. When I met Lindsay the very first time, I knew there was something very special about her. Immediately her spirit came through… gentle, loving, intuitive and kind.
